ClickZ's Kate Kaye talks with Zac Moffatt, the digital director for Team Romney. Moffatt told Kaye about the importance of having a digital campaign lead who is an in-house part of the campaign leadership:
"When you're a consultant, you're invested, but not there day to day.... I wake up every morning and think about Governor Romney and think about what needs to be done," said Moffatt.

"We are part of the [conversation] just like any senior staff."
Moffatt, reports Kaye, did work with Marco Rubio's Senate campaign through Targeted Victory, a firm he founded. Mitt Romney officially declared his presidential candidacy earlier today in New Hampshire.
