Tina Brown’s biggest coup yet: Andrew Sullivan has left The Atlantic to join the NewsBeast. His blog (and its 1.2 million unique visitors) will migrate to The Daily Beast while he’ll also become a Newsweek contributor.

This is certainly a blow for The Atlantic’s online operation, which saw a huge boost to its traffic after it brought on Sullivan’s Daily Dish from Time magazine in 2007.
